“A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013″
Bo: Having a hot porridge breakfast on our new back steps. It’s the warmest place in the whole house first thing in the morning and together we sit in the winter sun and listen to the birds singing. It’s a perfect moment every day, and a new ritual that you already know well, and it is just ours alone amidst the glorious chaos that is life.
My favourite portrait this week was of these little knees, complete with taped up toes and all the fun of a summer at play. Lovely.
Julie - Love the little rituals that you get to share with your child, they make the best memories
Sash - They really do, it’s sort of like a secret language… it’s lovely. xo
Rachel - I LOVE her little poncho!!! She is absolutely darling — all grown up and eating her porridge by herself. Awesome coordination skills! Congrats on the new place.
Sash - It’s gorgeous isn’t it… I love it, wish I could find one in my size! She’s grown up far too fast for my liking xx Nice to hear from you again Rachel xox
Lottie :: Oyster & Pearl - Thank you for linking to us this week! The light in your portraits is beautiful x
Sash - Thanks so much xo
Amanda - What gorgeous shots, I love the morning ritual you’ve described here just as much as your stunning photography. Just beautiful. I have discovered your lovely corner of blogland for the first time tonight and have just spent an hour or so reading back through your posts, ‘getting to know you’. How nice to cross paths with a fellow WA blogger. I look forward to following your journey here on your blog – Amanda xx
Sash - Thank you so much Amanda! Lovely to find another WA blogger, I’ve just come back from a bit of a read of your beautiful blog… thanks for letting me know you stopped by!
Peggy - I love those peaceful little rituals. It’s those moments that make life wonderful.
Sash - Doesn’t it just! 🙂 x
